We are sorry that the Made in Lancashire site has been down for a while, it has suffered some damage, but hopefully it is back to full working order now. 

Well, summer is here, or has it been and gone!  It is that time of year again with events galore across the county.  The shows and events that take place across the county are a great opportunity for you to buy even more local produce.  It is also provides you with the chance meet more of the producers behind the products and you may find yourself tasting new some products which are new to the market.   

Don’t forget when you buy locally you are helping to support the local economy and reduce your food miles, whilst at the same time enjoy fresher and tastier produce, "Think, Buy, Eat LOCAL". 

There are some fantastic new events for this year, including Nigel Howarth's Fantastic Food Show which took place on the 8th August at Ewood Park, it was a great success, with lots of visitors and a great variety of produce for sale, with producer talks and cokery demonstrations.  Don't forget coming up this weekend is the first ever Food Festival at Barton Grange Garden Centre on the 21st and 22nd August.  Visit our events calendar for a full listing and further details of all the forthcoming shows and events, and plan your taste trip around the county today.
